In Red Stone, there are 16 classes for you to explore and try out. Here will the classes be listed.

WarriorEdit

The tradition of swordsmanship is long-standing and honorable. Ever since men could forge metal they have been making swords, and those who mastered their art were regarded as warriors. Brunenstig is known as a place of chivalry due to the existence of their knights, honorable men who swear fealty to their lord and will lay down their life for king and country. Swordsmanship varies between those who favor the larger, two-handed blades and those who prefer a one-handed sword and shield combination. The knights of old Brunenstig have historically preferred the sword and shield method, while knights from the Augusta peninsula have traditionally used two-handed swords.

SquireEdit

The best warriors, however, are adept at both styles of combat and can fluidly switch between them as the situation requires. Such warriors make formidable opponents, able to adapt to any combat conditions, whether they call for offense or defense as a priority. Warriors are historically opposed to monsters and demons, and stand in defense of the cities of Prandel against such horrors. Some suspect that warriors have an uncanny interest in red demons in particular, possibly due to a tie with the Red Stone, but none can deny that warriors serve the cause of good by combating.

Magic Archer Edit

Powerful female combatants from a matriarchal tribe in the middle region of Prandel, archers are the descendants of mercenaries employed by the kingdom of Eript in their search for Red Stone. Masters of both bow and spear, archers also magically enhance their arrowheads and spear points to attack foes. Their sorcery is very different from that of most magic-users, in that it is very practical rather than mystical due to it being learned via actual combat experience instead of study.

These powerful warrior-women are primarily known for their archery skills, but their abilities with a spear should not be discounted; they are every bit as lethal with one. Archers are also extremely mobile, being fleet of foot and experienced in running circles around their foes.

When the Kingdom of Eript collapsed, many of its mercenaries left for other work, but most of them went to the Kingdom of Godom to continue searching for Red Stone. Their experience in dealing with demons is vast due to the length of time they have spent fighting, and yet they are often ostracized where they travel because they are seen as bringing trouble and strife wherever they go. Those seeking Red Stone, however, would do well to become acquainted with one of these powerful combatants.

Princess Edit

One might wonder where all of these princesses come from. The answer is not entirely clear. There are rumors that Tatcrapt Kizer Straus, the king of Nacrema and a legendary womanizer, is the common father. This story seems to be exaggerated, however. Tatcrapt’s bachelorhood was the stuff of which legends are made, but the sheer number of princesses found in Prandel currently seems beyond even his abilities. The Princesses possess a mystical transformation ability, which is the source of further speculation about their origin. Some suspect the princesses arrived on Prandel from another planet or dimension.

Princesses have an eclectic array of abilities, from attacking enemies with their slings to a strange variety of charms and confusion powers. Their specialty is long-range combat with their slings, even extending to slinging items at foes and friends alike. They have learned the useful art of slinging liquid medicines and restoratives at their friends, providing lifesaving healing power at a distance.

Little Witch Edit

A Princess is able to transform into a little witch, going from a small girl to a full-grown adult instantly. Little witches use strange and unique magic based on light and sound. This lends to the rumors of their interplanetary origins, as the stories say that their magic comes from the power of the stars themselves.

Thief Edit

There is some debate as to whether being a thief is actually considered a legitimate “job”, as stealing another’s possessions is generally frowned upon. However, those with the skills of a thief can do far more than just steal. They often work as detectives, spies, trap-finders, and treasure hunters.

A thief is somewhat of a specialist within an adventuring party, as their many and varied skills help smooth the path of the entire group. They can scout out groups of enemies in advance, disarm any traps that might be in the way of the group, and help the group to locate the most desirable treasure.

All of this does not mean that thieves are not capable of protecting themselves, however. They are quite capable of fighting via an assortment of deadly weapons, such as throwing daggers, darts, and javelins.

Monk Edit

Many thieves often learn methods of unarmed combat, which makes the most of their quick reflexes. Those who specialize as monks learn pressure points, striking precise areas of the body to inflict great harm. The southern villages of the Augusta Peninsula house the best training facilities for these unarmed martial arts.

Summoner Edit

Prandel is home to many creatures. Human, animal and supernatural. The supernatural include evil beings like undead and vampires, but there are also other beings known as “divine creatures”.

Divine creatures are in tune with elemental power, and have a nature containing one or more elemental attributes. They are spirits with physical bodies, manifesting fire, water, wind, and earth. Along with the four elements, there are also divine creatures that manifest light and darkness.

Summoners are able to interact with these divine creatures. Some attribute this ability to sorcery, however, there are certain distinctions from traditional magic. Sorcerers directly use the power of the four elements and materialize them into certain forms, while summoners communicate with divine creatures and manifest elemental power via the creatures rather than directly.

Tamer Edit

Rather than communing with divine creatures, tamers focus on interactions with natural animals. Mother Nature is their domain. Tamers spend their lives learning to communicate with animals, and can soothe even the most savage beast.

The ability scores of this profession affect the power of their pets:

Strength: Increases the attack ability of pets.

Agility: Increases the defensive power of pets.

Health: Increases HP regeneration of pets.

Knowledge: Increases pet skill levels.

Charisma: Reduces the delay on being able to re-tame a pet over which the tamer has lost control.

Necromancer Edit

When the Red Stone first appeared on Prandel, it attracted demons from the Underworld. Some of these demons chose to hide their true identities while on the surface world, assuming the guise of necromancers so they could fit in with the humans. The skills of a necromancer, raising the dead and issuing powerful curses, fit just fine for a demon.

Demon Edit

These demons are different from the red demons who first arose on the surface world. Fearing that the red demons would find the Red Stone first and use its power to dominate the Underworld, other demons came to the surface to both fight the red demons and capture the Red Stone for themselves.

Many demons never show their true identities on the surface, and some even lose their demonic powers entirely, residing on the surface world purely as necromancers. Those who witness a necromancer in their true form, however, will never forget the horror of the magic of hell.

Magician Edit

In the eastern lands of Prandel, sorcery based around the elements of fire, water, wind, and earth is well developed. The town of Smug has especially powerful sorcerers, with skills equivalent to the old royal sorcerers of Brunenstig. Magic is common enough to be taught in academies.

Werewolf Edit

What makes the sorcerers of Smug stand out is their ability to transform into werewolves.

There many rumors and mysteries surrounding this ability, but what is commonly believed is that the ability is related to the powerful forces of magic that surround the town. Sweb Tower and Arach Lake are both nearby, both ancient and deep repositories of magical energy. Many believe that this energy permeates the town of Smug and changes the constitution of its inhabitants, allowing the werewolf transformation.

This incredible shapeshifting ability allows magicians to overcome their inherent physical disadvantages. Should they encounter a foe resistant to their spells, they can turn to a werewolf to attack physically. This flexibility has saved the life of many a magician where lesser magic-users would fall.

Fallen Angel Edit

Fallen angels are divine beings who have been banished from the Celestial World. Their participation in the Red Stone’s destruction 500 years ago was the cause of their fall. This event devastated the Celestial World in addition to the mortal world, and for this atrocity the fallen angels were tasked with a mission as their penance. To mark them, a wing on each angel was broken as a sign of their disgrace.

Priest Edit

The angels took the form of priests, and joined the churches of the surface world. While there, they were meant to search for and retrieve the Red Stone, for a purpose that can only be guessed at. Normally, the angels exist in their priest forms, as their angelic wings stand out on the surface world and mark them with shame. When most angels are banished their wings are completely stripped from them. Fallen angels, however, only had half of a wing broken and retained much of their divine power, which serves as evidence of the Celestial World’s interest in retrieving the Red Stone.

Living for 500 years on the surface world has changed many of the fallen. Some have erased their angelic identities completely, and live only as simple priests. Others are willing to make full use of their power. As priests, they possess strong spiritual strength and endurance, and are potent enemies of both undead and demons. The true purpose behind their search for Red Stone is still unknown, but all will acknowledge that they make powerful allies in battle.
